Sally joined LDDR in September 2008.

1/11/2010: Sally is a beautiful and unique looking girl, she is a dark Brindle, tall and lean, with very kind loving eyes. Sally loves to play in the snow and be outside. She quickly learns her boundaries outside. She is great on walks and hardly ever pulls or makes stops on her own. She has no problem being in a crate when she isn't going to be supervised but I don't think she would get into anything if left out. She is very gentle when approaching people and is learning quickly not to jump up. She can sit, lay down, shake with both paws and High 5 with both paws, she loves to roll over and get belly rubs!! She can also keep herself busy by looking out the windows and chewing on rawhides. She loves to be where you are, and will curl up and cuddle with you whenever you are willing!! She doesn't know how big she is and in her mind is considered a lap dog! Please consider Sally for the new addition to your family!

10/1/2009: Sally is 3 years old and is a loving girl who will cling to you if you let her! She loves to get attention and is such a good girl! She was at one of our shows recently and did well with the other dogs there and likely will do well with most dogs but really seems to be a people dog as she is eager to please and so happy to have someone near her! She will be a loyal companion. Sally has long legs and a slender physique. She enjoys playing with the other dogs in the home and enjoys all the comforts life is giving her. Sally does chase cats so be aware of that. Due to her strength and her excitement level upon greeting people, we recommend bigger/older children.

We just are not sure on the breed mixes of Sally, she kind of resembles many! But she is a pretty brindle! Sally enjoys and is well behaved for car rides. She knows many commands such as come, leave it, sit, lay and is still working some on stay! She is a sweet girl! Sally likes to play fetch but doesn`t always return and release, but she is learning! Sally does have some busy energy and she and her forever family would benefit from obedience training. Sally should have lots of chew toys. if her new parents like to walk or jog Sally would love that.

Sally's adoption fee is only $100.

Last Day Dog Rescue now microchips all animals before adoption. Microchips are implanted between the animals shoulder blades and are a permanent form of identification. The microchips are registered to Last Day Dog Rescue with the adopter's info added once adopted. If the animal is ever lost and slips his/her collar/tags the microchip allows the finder to know who to contact if scanned for a microchip. Animals MUST still have a collar with tags on at all times. Per our contract, we take all our animals back if for any reason you can't keep your adopted animal.

Please understand the statements about this animal are based upon the foster home's evaluation of the animal. The animal might behave differently (negatively or positively) in your home. While the animal might be good with the current foster’s dogs, cats, children, etc., it may not be with your animal(s) or children. The animal may be housebroken or litter trained in the home of the foster but may relapse in your home. The animal is represented to the public as it performs in the foster home and any statements made regarding the animal are conditional to that foster home setting. Please understand that statements made regarding this animal are simply overviews and are not guaranteed.

The Petfinder.com system requires that we choose a predominant breed or breed mix for our animals. Visual breed identification in animals is unreliable so for most of the animals we are only guessing at predominant breed or breed mix. We get to know each animal as an individual and will do our best to describe each of our animals based on personality, not by breed label.

Thank you for looking through our list of animals needing forever homes and choosing rescue first. We appreciate you stopping by.
