Description:
Hi, I'm Padme, sometimes called Zoey, sometimes called sweetie. I was a lucky little pup. My mom was rescued a few days before I was born. I loved being with my mom who people like to describe as a fox hound. I just call her mom. She is in a happy home as are all 7 of my brothers and sisters. I'm back at foster mommy's house not because I was bad or anything, in fact because I have a sweet pretty face, I was the first one adopted to a great home with a little girl that would let me sleep with her.

My mommy master took me to puppy classes and helped me with all my homework. I especially liked giving my paw to people with treats, we loved hanging out together too. My family and I were forced apart because master daddy's found out that he was allergic to dogs. I was so loved there and and I loved them back. It took me a week to stop crying for them. Lucky for me, foster mommy has other dogs I can play with and lots of toys and goodies. That helped me take my mind off my family. I'm now looking for a new forever family. One that likes to play, cause I LOVE to play!

I was born october 18th 2008 so this month I will be 7 months old I love other dogs and have discovered cats can be fun too. I chase them but would never hurt them! My mommy had my blood tested and the results came back quite different then we thought. I know my mom was a Fox hound, but I thought my dad was a boxer. NOooo he was not he was a Red Bone Coonhound. And guess what else I am? A miniture pincher. No way! I don't look at all like that. BUT, I am very small for a coonhound so the blood test must know something. I'm almost full grown, just have to fill out my figure. I'm 40lbs. I am high energy but I have a off switch. I happy to rest in my crate, I don't cry or complain. Foster mom has heard back from all my brother and sisters forever family and I seem to be one of the smallest and smartest. I am the most petit and mild mannered of the bunch! I'm 99% potty trained. Sometimes I have an accident when foster mommy is too busy and forgets to let me out. I hope to find a forever family soon as my puppyhood is almost over and I want so much to spend my life with my family... even my silly puppy months! I'm easy to meet. Just fill out a application for me and they will get it to my foster mommy, then you will be invited over to my house to meet me. If we like each other I could be your forever puppy in no time! Thanks for reading all of this, I do like to talk alot! Love and Licks! Padme

Last Day Dog Rescue now microchips all animals before adoption. Microchips are implanted between the animals shoulder blades and are a permanent form of identification. The microchips are registered to Last Day Dog Rescue with the adopter's info added once adopted. If the animal is ever lost and slips his/her collar/tags the microchip allows the finder to know who to contact if scanned for a microchip. Animals MUST still have a collar with tags on at all times. Per our contract, we take all our animals back if for any reason you can't keep your adopted animal.

Please understand the statements about this animal are based upon the foster home's evaluation of the animal. The animal might behave differently (negatively or positively) in your home. While the animal might be good with the current foster’s dogs, cats, children, etc., it may not be with your animal(s) or children. The animal may be housebroken or litter trained in the home of the foster but may relapse in your home. The animal is represented to the public as it performs in the foster home and any statements made regarding the animal are conditional to that foster home setting. Please understand that statements made regarding this animal are simply overviews and are not guaranteed.

The Petfinder.com system requires that we choose a predominant breed or breed mix for our animals. Visual breed identification in animals is unreliable so for most of the animals we are only guessing at predominant breed or breed mix. We get to know each animal as an individual and will do our best to describe each of our animals based on personality, not by breed label.

Thank you for looking through our list of animals needing forever homes and choosing rescue first. We appreciate you stopping by.
