Notes: Jet is about 5-years-old, weighs in at 22 pounds and is full grown. Jet is fully housebroken and very smart. APPEARANCE: Jet has a very soft silky medium length black coat. He is becoming distinguished in his appearance with a little grey showing in his goatee and one long white eyebrow! This sweet cutie has dark brown eyes (one is actually about 2 shades darker than the other!) With his large expressive ears and thin legs, Jet often receives comments that he looks like a fox! PERSONALITY: This funny little guy absolutely loves attention (but doesn't demand attention, which is good too)! He will follow you around the house because he just wants to be near you. Jet will wind himself around you when being petted, or just curl up on/near your feet so he stays close if you can't pet him at the time. He is a snuggly cuddly lap baby too - if you let him!! Jet loves people, but may be a little growly upon meeting someone for the first time. It doesn't take Jet long to bond with his adult human companions though, and you can tell in his eyes that he adores you and wants to please you. Jet plays well with other dogs and ignores cats. He has even had the opportunity to live with house rabbits and has remained completely uninterested! This middle aged guy doesn't have middle-aged energy; He is FULL OF LIFE (but calms down well when playtime is over)!! He enjoys running around the yard at full speed! Jet is great on a leash and will do best in a home where someone is home more than not and who would like to walk him at least once a day as he really enjoys (and needs) walk time! Jet is a very cooperative companion while in the car. As he longs to be close to his humans, Jet may prefer riding in the front passenger seat, but is a good boy and usually just curls up and sleeps. Jet would do best in a home without children or adult children. His adoption fee is $175 Last Day Dog Rescue now microchips all animals before adoption. Microchips are implanted between the animals shoulder blades and are a permanent form of identification. The microchips are registered to Last Day Dog Rescue with the adopter's info added once adopted. If the animal is ever lost and slips his/her collar/tags the microchip allows the finder to know who to contact if scanned for a microchip. Animals MUST still have a collar with tags on at all times. Per our contract, we take all our animals back if for any reason you can't keep your adopted animal. Please understand the statements about this animal are based upon the foster home's evaluation of the animal. The animal might behave differently (negatively or positively) in your home. While the animal might be good with the current foster’s dogs, cats, children, etc., it may not be with your animal(s) or children. The animal may be housebroken or litter trained in the home of the foster but may relapse in your home. The animal is represented to the public as it performs in the foster home and any statements made regarding the animal are conditional to that foster home setting.
