Description: MEET CHANCE!
Chance was spared a week in a gassing Ohio shelter because he is a sweet boy and it was felt he deserved to have a CHANCE at a better life, that is why we named him Chance! Looks like Chance is about 2 years old, weighs about 50 lbs and is one big bundle of fluff! He is very laid back and gets along well with anyone, even guinea pigs! Chance is potty trained and crate trained. Chance does well with other dogs but tends to be a bit on the submissive side. He does not participate in aggressive dog play, will sit back and watch this, but if you want to play chase or fetch this is your man! Chance does not release the ball yet for fetch but does like to run after it- all around he is one great dog! We are working on some allergy problems with him, trying different foods and antihistamines to see what will work. As this is allergy season we have no way of knowing if this is a year round issue or summertime only. He is also currently getting ear drops as allergies and ear infections go hand in hand but these are relatively inexpensive meds, $12.00 for a month of antihistamines and about $15.00 for the ear drops. We think he is well worth this as he is so great in all other ways! Please consider giving Chance a forever home, this boy certainly deserves it!. He's a very friendly and playful boy. He is good with taking treats. We hope to find Chance a new life filled with hope for a wonderful future! We are very proud to give him a second chance for the family and home he wants and deserves! Chance is mircochipped. Please ask us about this wonderful guy!
ADOPTION FEE IS $195.00

A Note from Last Day Dog Rescue:
This wonderful dog is just one of many in our care right now. Your sponsorship will help us provide shelter, food, vetting and tender loving care for our dogs until they find new loving homes. Adoption fees do not cover our expenses, so your sponsorship will make a positive impact on our organization and especially on our dogs well being. We are not a chapter or affiliate of any national animal organization. We are, moreover, very grateful for your generosity. Please click to sponsor this great dog! Thank you!
*DISCLAIMER:
We at Last Day Dog Rescue cannot and do not guarantee breed or age of its dogs/puppies listed with us for adoption. We depend on opinions from shelter staff and veterinarians among others to provide us with their best assessments regarding both breed and approximate age to the best of their ability.
*PLEASE NOTE:
We rescue our dogs from shelters and pounds. Most often we do not have background or history information on them. In the event any information is given to us, we will include that in the dogs profile.
*YOU MUST BE AT LEAST 21 YEARS OLD TO APPLY FOR AN ADOPTION. *WE DO NOT ADOPT OUT OF STATE. Last Day Dog Rescue now microchips all animals before adoption. Microchips are implanted between the animals shoulder blades and are a permanent form of identification. The microchips are registered to Last Day Dog Rescue with the adopter's info added once adopted. If the animal is ever lost and slips his/her collar/tags the microchip allows the finder to know who to contact if scanned for a microchip. Animals MUST still have a collar with tags on at all times. Per our contract, we take all our animals back if for any reason you can't keep your adopted animal. Please understand the statements about this animal are based upon the foster home's evaluation of the animal. The animal might behave differently (negatively or positively) in your home. While the animal might be good with the current foster’s dogs, cats, children, etc., it may not be with your animal(s) or children. The animal may be housebroken or litter trained in the home of the foster but may relapse in your home. The animal is represented to the public as it performs in the foster home and any statements made regarding the animal are conditional to that foster home setting. Please understand that statements made regarding this animal are simply overviews and are not guaranteed. The Petfinder.com system requires that we choose a predominant breed or breed mix for our animals. Visual breed identification in animals is unreliable so for most of the animals we are only guessing at predominant breed or breed mix. We get to know each animal as an individual and will do our best to describe each of our animals based on personality, not by breed label. Thank you for looking through our list of animals needing forever homes and choosing rescue first. We appreciate you stopping by.Other Pictures of Chance (click to see larger version):
