My name is Fajita and I am 4 months old. I joined Last Day Dog Rescue with my siblings and parents. They have all been adopted and I am the last one left. I don't understand why though.
I was very attached to my sister who was fostered with me. Since she left my foster mom noticed I have separation anxiety. I do not like to be alone at all. Something that helps is being with my dog friends. I need to go to a home with another smaller dog. BIgger dogs that are in your face scare me. I am really looking for a dog I can connect with so I feel safe. I have a cat friend named Nefertiti, who I love. If you would consider adopting her with me, the nice people at the rescue will sponsor her fee so we can hangout together. (Check her out on our site!)
I am sleeping in a crate right now and do fine as long as I can see you. I'm also crated when my foster mom leaves but am in the same room as the other dogs so I don't feel so alone. Luckily I am only alone about 3 hours max a day. That is ideal for me and wouldn't do good in a home where I am left alone 7+ hours.
I am working on going potty outside and need someone who will continue to work with me on that. If you put potty pads by the door I will go on those too. I know what treats are and will show you how smart I am when you have one. I can Sit and walk on my back legs. I am learning other basic commands and learning to walk on a leash.
I am a total lap dog and will follow you anywhere. I have the cutest personality and am so sweet. If you think you can give me the time and attention I need to settle in nicely please fill out an app! If you have questions email Julie.K443@yahoo.com
Last Day Dog Rescue now microchips all animals before adoption. Microchips are implanted between the animals shoulder blades and are a permanent form of identification. The microchips are registered to Last Day Dog Rescue with the adopter's info added once adopted. If the animal is ever lost and slips his/her collar/tags the microchip allows the finder to know who to contact if scanned for a microchip. Animals MUST still have a collar with tags on at all times. Per our contract, we take all our animals back if for any reason you can't keep your adopted animal. Please understand the statements about this animal are based upon the foster home's evaluation of the animal. The animal might behave differently (negatively or positively) in your home. While the animal might be good with the current foster’s dogs, cats, children, etc., it may not be with your animal(s) or children. The animal may be housebroken or litter trained in the home of the foster but may relapse in your home. The animal is represented to the public as it performs in the foster home and any statements made regarding the animal are conditional to that foster home setting.
