Description:
My name is Warren, and I'm amazing! As you can see, I'm about as cute as a dog can get, with my big floppy ears, loving eyes, velvety fur, and short little legs. I am a sweet boy and absolutely love people - I'm always excited when a person walks in the room, and if you sit on the floor with me, I will contentedly lean against you and kiss your face.
I do well with other dogs and would enjoy having a playful friend, but I would be happy as the only child, too. I've been known to playfully pester the cats in my foster home, and while I would be fine with a dog savvy cat, I may be a bit much for a cat who is not a fan of dogs. I don't live with any kids right now, but the neighbor kids make me a little nervous when they are running around screaming. If I live with kids, they'll need to be a little older and calmer.
I'm still a young boy and have some playful energy, but after a nice long walk or some time to play in the yard, I will happily curl up on my blanket for a long nap. Did I mention that I absolutely LOVE my walks?! Overall, I am pretty mild mannered, I don't get on the furniture and am fine in my crate while my foster mom is gone and to sleep at night.
I would love a forever human who will take me on at least one walk a day, take me for car rides, let me spend most of my time by their side, and love me forever. If you think we might be a good match, you can email my foster mom to learn more about me at mmbutler3811@gmail.com.
Last Day Dog Rescue now microchips all dogs/cats before adoption. Microchips are implanted between the dog's/cat’s shoulder blades and are a permanent form of identification. The microchips are registered to Last Day Dog Rescue with the adopter's info added once adopted. If the dog/cat is ever lost and slips his/her collar/tags the microchip allows the finder to know who to contact if scanned for a microchip. Dogs and cats MUST still have a collar with tags on at all times. Per our contract, we take all our dogs and cats back if for any reason you can't keep your adopted dog or cat.
The petfinder.com system requires that we choose a predominant breed or breed mix for our dogs and cats. Visual breed identification in dogs is unreliable so for most of the dogs we are only guessing at predominant breed or breed mix. We get to know each dog as an individual and will do our best to describe each of our dogs based on personality, not by breed label. Last Day Dog Rescue now microchips all animals before adoption.
