ADOPT A DOG OR CAT FROM LAST DAY DOG RESCUE

Thank you for visiting Last Day Dog Rescue. We are a 501(c)(3) organization with a simple mission - saving animals. A no-kill rescue based in Livonia with foster homes across Michigan. We take in these beautiful transient creatures and do our very best to provide them with safety, medical care, and LOVE. Since 2007 saving thousands of dogs and cats. While we openly take in puppies and dogs who are in good shape, our focus is on saving those who are most likely not saved without our help. We were founded on the principle that all life is precious, regardless of breed, appearance, or age. Please consider adopting one of our dogs, puppies, cats or kittens.   Daya - Vq Litter
Hi there! My name originally was Daya but I go by Rue and my three favorite things are food, cozy pillows, and cuddles (ideally all happening at once). I am content to curl up in a ball and sleep the day away but I do have bursts of energy and I LOVE to chew so I need a home where I can get the exercise and mental stimulation I need. I love my people and want nothing more than to cuddle up and...read more about Daya - Vq Litter
  Thorfinn
Hi I’m Proximo but go by Thorfinn now. I’ve had a bit of a rough start to life after being found in the streets with my sister as a puppy. I am a very sweet and lovable guy who likes to curl up next to my person when we watch tv, sleep, or on days when we’re just couch potatoes. I also like to go on walks and I know some basic commands like sit, shake, wait and down. I think ...read more about Thorfinn

His knows some basic commands like sit, wait, stay and high five. He is house broken and crate trained. He is very quite in his crate and really in general. Nash is not a big barker. He loves to run around the yard, play with his toys and chew bones. He doesn'...read more about Nash

She knows her basic commands such as sit, stay and down (to lay down). She is very energetic and loves to run. Stella sits and takes treats very gently. She does pretty well on a leash. Stella would do be...read more about Stellaris
  Picasso - Ok Litter
Picasso is a very sweet, loving boy that loves to cuddle with his people. He also likes to spend time outside but is not a candidate for daily walks. He does not like other dogs so he is very reactive on the leash. He needs a home with no other pets and no kids. Picasso is a shy boy when it comes to new visitors, he prefers women over men, and will need a quiet home with very little traffic. He i...read more about Picasso - Ok Litter
  Tanbo - Yq Litter ♥
Hello! I’m Tanbo (now named Snoop). I was adopted from Last Day Dog Rescue as a pup and now see myself back here due to family issues. I’m a very inquisitive pup and like to find my way into many things, but I’m learning that I’m not allowed to do so.  Anything to do with treats and I’ll be right there with you, but if you have your own food, I may sniff it. ...read more about Tanbo - Yq Litter ♥

Seniors For Seniors

Did you know that Last Day Dog Rescue has a "Seniors For Seniors" program? Animal lovers 65 years and over can adopt a select senior dog for only $100! Our senior dogs included in this program are listed on our Seniors For Seniors page. These very special dogs have won the hearts of our fosters and volunteers and we are sure they will win yours over, too!

As with all our dogs, we will also take our animals back in the event of an emergency or illness. So please tell all your senior friends! There is no reason to live alone without the love and devotion of a furever friend.
