Monetary donations are always welcome. While we do ask for an adoption fee, we do not expect to recover veterinary and other expenses completely. In fact, by the time the dogs are ready for placement, we anticipate that the required adoption fee may cover approximately 1/3 to 1/2 of their veterinary bills, on average. All dogs coming into rescue receive a veterinary exam, heartworm test, full spectrum of vaccinations, are put on heartworm and flea/tick preventative, and any injuries or illnesses are treated (heartworm positive, mange, ringworm, old injuries, etc.). We ask you to dig deep into your pockets and help. Our minimal adoption fee barely covers the altering and vaccines of a healthy dog. We depend on fundraisers and on the generosity of our supporters. Thank you in advance for your tax deductible support.
