Description:

Seriously... look at that face! A happy face for sure. He knows he is one of the lucky ones getting out of a very high kill shelter... where few ever walk out of. He is a calm, sweet, gentle soul with so much hope for the future. He is a happy boy, just loving life. He is a good boy and likes to play with other dogs and especially likes to be around people.

Since being in his foster home, his foster says that Brewsky is a super sweet boy who is very well behaved and polite despite lack of training. Poor guy doesn't even know how to shake. He's very fearful when corrected. I don't think he was treated very well be fore we got him. But he listens very well. Everyone here loves him and wants to keep him because he's so easy going. He gets along with the other dogs well large and small. But has a large bite mark on his back so is very nervous and defensive around the other dog in his foster home.  Brewsky loves to go for walks but he's not very good on a leash yet. We are working on that and his basic commands. He loves to run and play and get pets but once he settles in he should be a very calm boy. Although he's normally very polite when he feels he needs some love or to be held he can be very determined and a little pushy and gets a little jealous with the other pups when its pet time. But what rott isn't?  All and all Brewsky is a very good boy who won everyone's heart in just a few days.

Brewsky dreams of running in the grass, sitting beside his favorite person watching TV, going for walks and just hanging out. Please don't let that smile slip off his face. Make him your forever friend soon! Who wouldn't want to look at that happy face every day!

The petfinder.com system requires that we choose a predominant breed or breed mix for our dogs. Visual breed identification in dogs is unreliable so for most of the dogs we are only guessing at predominant breed or breed mix. We get to know each dog as an individual and will do our best to describe each of our dogs based on personality, not by breed label.

Last Day Dog Rescue now microchips all animals before adoption. Microchips are implanted between the animals shoulder blades and are a permanent form of identification. The microchips are registered to Last Day Dog Rescue with the adopter's info added once adopted. If the animal is ever lost and slips his/her collar/tags the microchip allows the finder to know who to contact if scanned for a microchip. Animals MUST still have a collar with tags on at all times. Per our contract, we take all our animals back if for any reason you can't keep your adopted animal.

Please understand the statements about this animal are based upon the foster home's evaluation of the animal. The animal might behave differently (negatively or positively) in your home. While the animal might be good with the current foster’s dogs, cats, children, etc., it may not be with your animal(s) or children. The animal may be housebroken or litter trained in the home of the foster but may relapse in your home. The animal is represented to the public as it performs in the foster home and any statements made regarding the animal are conditional to that foster home setting. Please understand that statements made regarding this animal are simply overviews and are not guaranteed.
